HELP DJ SVOBODA GET TO NEW YORK CITY FOR AN EXHIBIT OF HIS ARTWORK AT THE UNITED NATIONS
Hi, my name is Kerry Ahrend and I am here to ask for your help to support my buddy, Daniel J Svoboda, so he can attend an event honoring him and 23 other neurodiverse artists on June 11th in NYC at the United Nations Headquarters.
How amazing would it be to have your art featured at the United Nations in New York City? DJ Svoboda’s “Gloomy Protane” is currently on exhibit at the United Nations through June 13th. The exhibit, sponsored by Strokes of Genius, opened on April 2nd to help celebrate World Autism Day and Autism Acceptance Month. DJ is an autistic artist with his own unique and colorful style. DJ’s art was selected along with art of varying media from 23 other neurodiverse artists from around the world.
DJ has been invited to a reception to be held on June 11th for the 24 international artists included in the exhibit, to highlight the gifts and talents of those with autism. Team DJ, who provides support for DJ and his entrepreneurial enterprises, is trying to raise the necessary funds to make this very special and memorable trip possible. Will you help us?
If you would like to help DJ attend this event, where he and the other artists will be honored, please donate to this Go Fund Me fundraiser. I will be traveling with him so your donation will help cover my expenses as well. Any funds that exceed our budget will be donated to DJ to help him with his monthly expenses.
Thank you in advance for your generosity. All monies collected will go towards air and ground transportation, lodging, and meals. Plans are to travel on June 10th and return on June 12th. The reception is from 6-8 PM on June 11th at the United Nations Headquarters.
