DJ is my coworker and friend. We work together building tour buses, and before that he spent years serving others as a first responder EMT. He’s been married to his wife for 41 years—they met as teenagers and have been inseparable ever since. DJ is one of the sweetest, hardest-working men I know, and his love for his wife is truly inspiring.

Recently, DJ’s wife was diagnosed with a rare cancer in the lining of her intestines. The prognosis is uncertain—she could have as little as a month or possibly a couple of years.

DJ had planned to retire and run a small carpentry shop from home, but when the pandemic hit, his shop was forced to close. Now, instead of enjoying retirement and spending precious time with his wife, DJ is working full time building buses.

The money raised will help cover medical bills, allow DJ to take time off work to be with his wife, and help them travel and fulfill dreams together. Your support will help them make the most of the time they have left, and it would mean the world for DJ to be able to focus on his wife and create special memories.
