DJ and his dog Prim have a truly special bond. DJ is my best friend, and Prim has been his loyal companion through thick and thin. They’ve been together since he rescued her, and according to the rescue workers, Prim never warmed up to anyone until she found DJ. Their connection is something beautiful to witness, and Prim means the world to him, especially after all the challenges DJ has faced this year.

Recently, DJ received heartbreaking news: Prim was diagnosed with cancer. It all happened so quickly—she needed emergency surgery, which thankfully went well, but her journey isn’t over yet. Prim is still recovering and will most likely need ongoing chemotherapy treatments to give her the best chance at a healthy life. The costs of her care are overwhelming, and DJ is doing everything he can to make sure Prim gets the treatment she needs.
