Hi, my name is Kendra. Dj and I have been together about 9 years now. A few days before Christmas 2021 we got the news through a video visit with the Dr. Informing us that the results of his testing came back malignant. What started in the beginning of December as just a little lump by his ear on his jaw line quickly grew in the next three weeks and became so swollen and clearly infected that we decided to go to the clinic to get it taken care of. After multiple blood draws, cat scans, biopsy, and feeling miserable the whole time, we never imagined that the culprit was going to be cancer. It is still pretty surreal even now. I can't believe that currently here we sit on our couch making this page to begin with. It is a very odd feeling. With all the trips that we have already made to Idaho Falls to get to this point, asking for help with the cost of that is our best option.. The money that we get from this fundraiser will help us be comfortable with our Lodging, gas to make the trips, food, prescriptions etc etc... Our next trip to Idaho Falls will be the night of the 9th and won't be able to come home until the evening of 12th....That week will be a very important and scary week with the appointments that are scheduled... I have had to change my work schedule around to be able to be there with DJ during every single appointment on this Journey... Any and Every little bit that we get from donations will be used to make this easier on the both of us and ensure that we are able to get DJ on his road to becoming a cancer survivor without having to worry about the financial burdens that life throws at us in situations like his. I want to personally thank everyone who donates or helps us even with prayer in advance.... You can't possibly imagine how much it means to us.
