Help DJ make it to The Brevard Music and Banff Arts Centers!

Hi, my name is DJ. I'm a trombonist and master’s student at the Lynn Conservatory of Music. This summer, I’ve been invited through a competitive audition process to attend two prestigious musician training programs: the Artist and Composer Interplay at The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Canada, and The Brevard Music Center Low Brass Seminar in Brevard, NC.

These festivals are incredible opportunities to study, perform, and grow alongside some of the best musicians and teachers in the world. They’ll open doors, allow me to make important professional connections, and are a crucial step in a classical musician's journey to making it as a professional musician (in many ways - similar to an internship in other industries).

Thanks to scholarships, much of the cost is covered—but I’m still responsible for travel, food, housing, and other expenses I can’t fully manage on my own, especially while stepping away from work to focus on these programs.
