Help DJ Heal: Support His Wrist Surgery

My husband DJ was working extra hours to be able to provide for our son's extracurricular activities since it is his Senior Year. On September 14, 2024, DJ fell which involved him to injure his hand. On impact DJ broke his wrist and fractured other bones. The outcome of his injuries has led him in needing surgery to place a metal plate in his wrist to bring all the bones back together to be able to heal properly. At this time, he is in a splint waiting to be able to have surgery done. he has only a limited time to get the surgery done. Unfortunately, the medical insurance that DJ does have is only for preventative care and will not cover any cost of injuries or treatment needed. His surgery and medical treatment has to paid out of pocket. The physicians office has already stated that just the surgery alone will cost 12,700.00. We are awaiting the cost of physician fee and anesthesia fee. Without this surgery the long-term outcome will be that he will lose some mobility in his right wrist.

We all love DJ because of the fierce spirit he has and inspires so many others to be the best version of themselves. He goes out his way for his children making sure they have everything they need. We want to help him recover the way he should so he can still be able to provide for his family.

We are now in a time crunch. Per the physician we cannot wait too long to have surgery done.
