Juan Sebastian Martines, most known as DJ Dread Juan, is an active participant in our community. Supporting Latinoamerican-Australian events and being part of the Drum Collective group. He is a loving proud husband and father of two beautiful little girls ( 2 and 5 years old). Great friend, son, and brother. Life and music lover.

Three months ago, Juan was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer in his Kidney. The Kidney and a portion of Venae Cavae were removed in a risky surgery. Three months later, after a follow-up MRI, Juan was diagnosed with aggressive lung cancer, and cancer spreading in Venae Cavae, again.

Cancer came back to take revenge but Juan decided to fight it back with all his strength, powered by the love of his family, friends, and the Latino-Australian Community. Due to his fragile condition, Juan had to stop working, his wife is looking after him and their little daughters.

We do appeal to the solidarity of family, friends, and the Latin-Australian Community to help Juan in his fight against Cancer. DJ Dread Juan always puts happiness, fun, and music in our lives. Now is our time to give him back all support he needs in this battle for his life. Money raised is going to pay for the hidden cost of treatment, house rent/ facilities, and a healthy vegan lifestyle to improve and strengthen Juan's immune system.
