I'm fundraising for DJ, a 15 year old whose dream is to be a commercial airline pilot!

DJ's journey starts now learning to fly gliders, building logbook time and experience towards his career in aviation as a commercial airline pilot.

A little about DJ, he's currently a Sophomore in High School and has a part-time job. His strengths in school are math and science, taking honors geometry, honors biology, and honors engineering design. DJ is a Boy Scout working on his merit badges towards his Eagle Scout. One of the fun things he does is volunteer with the local EAA Chapter during their Young Eagles rallies.

DJ is motivated to accomplish each license and rating by the FAA's minimum age requirement (see below) to fulfill his dreams over the next seven years!

Private Pilot - Glider solo at 14 years old
Private Pilot - Glider license at 16 years old
Private Pilot - SEL solo at 16 years old
Private Pilot - SEL license at 17 years old
Multi-Engine rating at 17 years old
Instrument Rating at 17 years old
Commercial Pilot License at 18 years old
Restricted ATP at 21 years old
ATP at 23 years old

Crowd funding a "scholarship" will help DJ accomplish his dream to sit in this seat! The costs to get a commercial pilot's license can be overwhelming, especially for a 14 year old. Currently it costs over $100,000 to get a commercial pilot's license. Your donation means a lot to DJ!
