I'm a close friend of Diya's, and recently called to check in on him. As you know. Diya is one of the most genuine, dedicated and animated friend for many of us. Whether its a pick-up game of volleyball or basketball, a birthday party, nerding out on movies: he's always been there for us.

Diya shared with me that he’s facing an unexpected Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis that’s brought significant medical expenses and challenges. He was in ER, and has dealt with ongoing testing, difficulty eating and low energy. He's been having a rough time. Given his slow recovery, he's had a hard time returning to work and normalcy.
