Dixie had a terrible accident in 2018 that eventually ended up with an amputation of her right lower leg.  Amidst this she was diagnosed with breast cancer (she is in remission) the prosthesis had to take a back seat to the cancer for awhile.  She now has an amazing prosthesis,  she lives alone,  however; she falls frequently.  This is where Gryphon comes into play.  Not only is he a wonderful companion,  he will be trained to be a mobility dog to give her much more independence and protection.  He is a South African, English Mastiff cross.  Calm, loving and sweet.  He's a very quick learner. She is having a difficult time getting funds together to pay for the training.  Through Petco Love she would be able to get ALL of his basic and advanced training $800, and the specialty will be $800. All receipts will be provided and he will be a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
