Our beloved dog Dixie recently gave us quite a scare. She managed to get out and was missing for over 24 hours. We searched all night and into the next day, and when we finally found her, she was cut up, limping, and bleeding. It was heartbreaking to see her in pain, but we rushed her to the vet right away to get her the care she needed. The medical bill for her treatment has been a lot for our family to handle.

Dixie has a tooth embedded in her tongue, multiple deep cuts on her legs, and she has to be sedated for surgery so the vets can properly treat her injuries. She’s in pain, scared, and confused — but she’s still fighting.

Dixie is more than just a pet—she’s a cherished member of our family. The funds raised here will go directly toward paying her vet bills and covering the medications she needs to recover at home. Every little bit helps us make sure Dixie can heal and get back to her happy, playful self.
