Dixie is out sugery..5.5 hours she is doing well.. best dog ever Dixie is my 10.5-year-old cream girl and my absolute favorite dog. She’s been by my side through so much, and it breaks my heart to see her in pain. Recently, Dixie had a terrible accident and broke her nose completely behind her canines. The injury is severe—she needs a plate, a partial root canal on her canines, and an intraoral splint to keep the roof of her mouth aligned. Right now, she can’t eat or drink, and she struggles to breathe through her nose.
