Hi, my name is Eryn and I am raising funds to help my neighbor with their German Shepherd, Dixie. She was diagnosed yesterday with heartworms, and I was told by the vet that her treatment will be at least $1000. Her family recently experienced tragedy. Dixie’s mom gave birth to twins. One of the babies passed away, and the other one is in the NICU 3 1/2 hours away from home. Their car broke down 2 days ago coming home from a hospital visit, and they are unable to afford care for Dixie.

She is one of the sweetest dogs ever. I have contacted many rescues and have come up empty-handed on that end. Please help me help her. Every little bit adds up to a long way!
