Help Divvy, Jill's Beloved Retired Service Dog

Dear friends and fellow animal lovers,

We are reaching out in an effort to help our dear friend Jill. Jill has an elderly, retired golden retriever service dog named Divvy. At almost 15 years old, he has several health issues and special needs, that only continue to grow. Divvy's medical and vet costs are more frequent and have become increasingly more expensive over the last few years. Divvy has arthritis, hind end weakness, liver & kidney disease, vision & hearing loss, dementia, some on and off appetite issues, and he had two bouts of vestibular disease he pretty much recovered from, but has some lingering effects from. Divvy requires a lot of medications that Jill just cannot afford on a limited income.

Jill also gets special foods, treats, and supplements that have helped Divvy get through some of his health conditions, and continue to help him live his best life for the time he has left. She has had to go into debt in order to pay for his increasing needs over the last couple years. Any amount of money, big or small, will help her reduce some of this debt and continue to pay for his ongoing needs in this latter part of his life.

Divvy has been a loving, loyal companion and helpmate for many, many years. He means absolutely everything to Jill, as the bond between service dog and their person is so incredibly strong and special. Anyone who sees them together can clearly see how much they love and care for each other.
