Help Division 81 Records get music out worldwide.

Hey Sonny Daze here. Division 81 is an independent recording label I have run the last 7 years. We are growing and have a lot of music in store for 2024. As a label I believe in presenting great music on vinyl. The expenses of manufacturing vinyl and recording music properly are not cheap. I have been able to put out some great music with really great musicians and more so great people.

2024 we have many releases on deck and we need support to put more music out and overcome some of the financial challenges we currently face. So I am turning to the people.

The label has a pretty simple approach and that is to make music that is good for the soul and uplifting to anyone who comes across our catalog. The world has so many things going on. The music presented by Division 81 is intended to add some good vibrations to the world.

When I began the label in 2017 I didn't know anything about running a label. I did know my intention was to deliver good music to the world and to help make it a bit better for the listener. 7 years later the label has grown and there is a need to get more music out immediately. The timing of the records is crucial.

There are currently several records ready to be either pressed to vinyl, mixed, recorded, edited or started from scratch. As a small label I have put out records that have reached the world audience. At this point I am turning to the people for support.

Major labels have budgets but many of them are not supporting the vision of the artist as I set out to do on every release were I serve not only as the label owner, but also as producer, mixing engineer, creative director and musician to name a few roles.

Help is needed to make this year a great one not simply for Division 81, but for music lovers across the globe. I believe this is very important work I am doing with artist such as Isaiah Collier, Michael Shekwoaga Ode, DJ Spinna and many others. Every bit counts. There is strength in numbers so please share this with any of your friends and colleagues.

Between 2022 & 2023 we spent close to $11,000 in recording, PR, Mixing, and Mastering expenses. It will cost nearly the same amount to press vinyl for each of these releases.

At an average cost of $10,000 for the Pressing of each Double Vinyl Album(2x LP).

We want to get this music out immediately and the time is truly now to make it happen. Thank you so kindly for your time and consideration.
