Help Displaced family from Lahaina wildfires.

Hi, My name is Julia, and I am fundraising for a family from the Lahaina Maui burn area.

My cousin who lives in Israel asked for my help with her half-sister in Maui.

I will be hosting the family with 2 young

They had to leave the rental apartment where they lived with everything inside in the burnet area. The husband worked for a hotel, and the hotel gave them a room temporarily after the fire.

The wife (who is from Israel) lost her job due to the fire. They need help with food, gas, other essentials, and apartment rentals.

They need to rent an apartment soon, but the rent is sky high as the demand increases, so they need help with rent too.

The kids are traumatized, but the school gives them mental health support, so they would like to stay in the school they know in Lahaina, rather than move far away.

I would like to take them to Disney and Universal to let them forget about the horror for a short time.

Money will be the best gift you can give them to help them through this difficult time they are going through.

Currently, they only have 1 hotel room for the 4 of them, so there is not much storage at this time until they move to an apartment on the west side of Maui.

Our family has been displaced since 8/8/2023 due to the devastating Lahaina wildfires.

in addition, yesterday, I lost my job that I loved so much and now I’m jobless and houseless. Please help us find a long-term rental and if you find it in your heart to support us financially we appreciate your help & continued support

This is hard for us to ask not something I would normally do but these are unusual times and we, like many other families have been affected by this unfortunate situation.
