Help displaced and newly orphaned kids
Donation protected
When I met my husband thirteen years ago, he asked me if I knew my purpose on earth as a Christian. My answer was to help people in need. He said that is everyone's purpose but I will give it to you then continued with another question to know who I would help. I said that, as an orphan, I wanted to help other orphans more. He said him too would love to help the same, but he preferred to help the elders the most because people forget about them a lot. I have watched this man for those thirteen years do just that. When we had our first daughter, we created a tradition where we send a little bit of what we have to the orphan every quarter and on our daughter's birthday we match what we want to spend for her birthday and send it to the kids at the orphanage to celebrate with them. We have been doing it for over 7 years and we increased the amount for our second daughter. I am sharing this story to show you how committed this man is to helping others. This GoFundMe is being created for something more than birthdays, a tragedy, for the families of the kids and parents who would not be able to see their next birthday. Our home country, the Democratic Republic of Congo's Eastern region (North Kivu province's main city of Goma) is once again being invaded, our brothers and sisters are being killed by the M23 rebel group. We ask for your generosity to support our campaign to help the displaced and newly orphaned kids. Anything will help. Thank you and God bless you always.
