I’m a disabled veteran facing an incredibly difficult Christmas. Unexpected bills, urgent car repairs, and delays with my VA benefits have left my parents and I struggling to cover basic needs. I don’t ask for help lightly, but right now we need support to stay safe, fed, and afloat this winter.

I am currently waiting on my updated VA disability rating, not to mention me awaiting to get an MRI, which has delayed the financial stability I was counting on. At the same time, my car urgently needs safe tires for winter driving, and everyday expenses like groceries and utilities have become overwhelming. I’ve already sold personal belongings to try to make ends meet, but it hasn’t been enough.
