Help Disabled Asian Man, Car Set on Fire
Donation protected
Jun is my friend (former co-worker). Haven't seen him in a year since COVID lockdown, but we stay in touch by phone and social media. He is a kind person who keeps to himself. I'd like to ask for anything to help him through this challenging and unexpected incident. The news report is below. Thanks and God bless.
(3/20/21) REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- A Redwood City man with disabilities discovered late Saturday morning that someone had set his car on fire.
Jun is Asian, and his sister is concerned this could be racially motivated.
She tells ABC7's Dion Lim that Jun found his job at Safeway through Ability Path, an organization that helps those with developmental disabilities.
He's now going to drive a rental car to get to work.
You can see the car is not salvageable.
Police told (KGO TV 7 News Reporter) Dion Lim the case is under investigation.
