Hello, my name is Diane Staten and I am creating this Go Fund Me on behalf of my mother Dionne Staten. My mother received her COVID booster shot which was highly recommended due to her being a school nurse. On Jan. 11 Dionne begin to feel ill, she started to feel tingling in her hands and feet. My mother has been a nurse for over 25 years and she believed that she was experiencing side effects from the Booster shot, and believed that she might have had a serious rare condition that could be fatal if left untreated Guillen Barre. On Jan 11 2022, the tingling in her hands and feet begin to get unbearable, the paramedics where called to her job and she was checked out, my mom went to Baylor in sunnyvale and she expressed to the doctors at the hospital that she believed that she may be experiencing Guillen Barre, and was assured by the doctors at Baylor Sunnyvale that she was not experiencing Guillen Barre. Dionne would continue to go to doctors on 5 different occasions and where meet with the same results THEY WHERE POSTIVE THAT SHE DID NOT HAVE GUILLEN BARRE. Dionne begin to get worst and at the point she could no longer walk her kids was forced to call the ambulance this time we where meet with a doctor that finally listen and also believed that she might have had Guillen Barre. Although we did finally have a doctor that agreed she should be admitted and tested Baylor downtown Dallas did not immediately test her. She waited three more days to be tested and begin to get worst. It was no longer in her hands and feet it had traveled up her entire body leaving her in so much pain. She was finally tested and the results came back that Dionne was indeed correct the entire time she had Guillen Barre that had been left untreated almost a week in a half at this point. We where told that she would begin treatment immediately igiv once test came back with an diagnosis but once again Dionne did not begin treatment, they made her wait til the next day. She suffered yet another day in pain, and without being treated for Guillen Barre. Once treatment was finally started it, it was a little bit to late it had already started to spread to her chest! The doctors made the decision to move her to ICU because it started to affect her ability to breath on her own! Dionne is in ICU ON A VENT FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE! This will be a long recovery and I would like to ask her family and friends to help with anything you see fit to bless her with so she does not have to be worried about her finances. My mother has worked her entire life and has worked hard! We do not want her to lose anything or stress while she fighting and fighting hard! I am unable to get any benefits started for my mother until she is fully awake and able to sign a form to be over her decisions so we can begin to get her benefits that's well deserved! My mother would give the shirt off her back to anyone, so what ever you have to give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
