Help Dion recover from broken neck and sternum!

Our dear friend Dion Smith was involved in a very serious car accident which resulted in his car flipping three times, being ejected from the car, and breaking his neck from C7-T1 and also breaking his sternum. He had surgery for over 8 hours, both through the front and through the back, to put in plates and screws to stabilize the neck. Additionally he has suffered contusion of the lung. He is in the ICU and in a lot of pain. By the grace of God, he was not paralyzed. Dion is truly a man with a heart of gold. We have known him for decades and it is completely common for him to spend his hard earned money buying groceries for an elderly lady he knows, picking up a basketball hoop someone is letting go and transporting it, along with new basketballs he has bought, to a kid going through a hard time, hauling furniture that is being donated to shelters, and so much more. This is a rare man with so much kindness in his heart, and desire to give and help absolutely everyone. This is going to be an extremely long and very painful recovery. He is uninsured and medical bills (not to mention the extensive rehab and therapy he will require) will be astronomical. His livelihood as a handyman/mover/hauler is likely over for good, and he will have no way of getting income for the foreseeable future. We ask that everyone who knows and loves Dion and his wife Nicole give as much as you are able to help to see them through this excruciatingly difficult time. Dion is absolutely like family to us! And please pray for his full recovery and strength for both of them to pull through this.
