On July 18, Dion lost the love of his life—his husband, Brian—after a long battle with chronic health issues. Despite their years of resilience together, nothing could prepare him for this heartbreak or the challenges he now faces alone.

Brian was more than a partner—he was Dion’s best friend, his family, and the heart of their home. He was also a fighter. Years of medical complications and hospital stays took a toll on his health and their finances, and because of his condition, he was unable to qualify for life insurance.
