Help Dion and Rebecca Through a Difficult Time
Our Story:
We are reaching out to our community and beyond for support during a challenging period for our family. Recently, Dion experienced a job loss due to ongoing health issues. He is currently managing stage three kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, and spinal stenosis, which have unfortunately made it difficult for him to continue working due to fatigue, back & leg pain and balance. He has applied for disability, but this could take 6-8 months.
Currently, our sole source of income is Rebecca's job at Village Northwest Unlimited, where she dedicates herself to helping individuals with physical and mental disabilities in the physical therapy department. Rebecca is a compassionate and hardworking caregiver, but the financial strain of covering all our monthly expenses, especially rent, on a single income is becoming increasingly difficult.
Adding to this, our wonderful son, Isaac, is graduating from high school this May and has the exciting prospect of heading to college in the fall. We are incredibly proud of his accomplishments and eager to support his next chapter.
How Your Support Will Help:
The funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will be used primarily to help us cover our monthly expenses, with the most pressing need being our rent. This will provide us with much-needed stability and allow Dion to focus on managing his health without the added stress of immediate financial concerns. Any additional funds raised will go towards supporting Isaac's upcoming college expenses, ensuring he can pursue his educational goals.
We understand that times are tough for many, and any support you can offer, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. Your generosity will provide us with a lifeline during this challenging time and help us navigate towards a more stable future.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering a donation. Please also consider sharing our campaign with your network.
With gratitude,
Dion, Rebecca, and Isaac Miller
