Help Dionë and Axel recover from flood damage

Hi, I'm Dione and I'm a single mum on the disability pension in Mullumbimby (near Byron Bay, Australia). My 16yo son Axel and I lost our car, computer, beds, furniture, appliances, garden tools and much more in the recent Northern NSW floods. The water came up through the floorboards soaking the carpets and everything close to the floor. The car is a write-off and unfortunately wasn't insured. Our house is infected with sewage particles and mould, we've had to find temporary accommodation in another town and we can't get around without a car. I have physical disabilities and need to get to medical appointments, shopping and my volunteer job at our community radio station. Axel needs a computer to keep up with his year 11 schoolwork, he has missed so much already. I hate to ask when so many other people are suffering but if anyone can spare a little towards helping us buy a second hand car, a PC and to replace other essential items we would be incredibly grateful. ❤
