Hello, my name is Janet, and I am fundraising on behalf of Dinah. I met Dinah when she was at the beginning of a deeply personal and transformative journey, and for the past five years I have had the privilege of walking alongside her, supporting her growth, and witnessing her remarkable dedication to helping others. Over this time, I have seen firsthand her unwavering commitment to young people, her strong Christian faith, and her passion for creating meaningful change within her community.

Dinah is a 42 year old Christian mother, counsellor, and lifelong learner with a heart for helping young people find healing, purpose, and peace.

Her story is one of faith, resilience, and determination. Against many personal and financial challenges, Dinah persevered and graduated with First Class Honours in Integrative Counselling a powerful reflection of her compassion, strength, and commitment to serving others.

A Calling to Help Young People

Since qualifying, Dinah has dedicated her days to working as a school counsellor. She supports young people facing anxiety, academic pressure, identity & emotional struggles, and family difficulties by offering them a safe, understanding space where they feel heard, valued, and loved.

Her faith has been her guiding light. Dinah believes that God’s grace can transform even the hardest of stories, and she strives to bring that same message of hope and restoration to every young person she meets.

Continuing Her Journey

To deepen her skills and better serve children and families, Dinah is now studying a Masters in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents at Birkbeck University.

She has completed her first year and is now in her second with one final year to go. This advanced training will equip her to make an even greater difference in the lives of children and families in need.

But as a working mother funding her own studies, the financial strain is heavy. Tuition fees, books, and essential materials all add up and that’s why this fundraiser exists.
