Exerpt: Last month, Fisher was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, and she is waging her medical war with the assistance of the team at Jan Bishop Cancer Center, part of UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center.
“When my girls look at me, I don’t want them to see cancer first,” Fisher said. “I feel like keeping any sense of normalcy in their lives right now is important.”
