Hi, I’m Melissa Gonzalez. I live in Fort Mill, SC. I’m creating this GoFundMe for my friends Dimario Watson, who I met recently on my trip to Jamaica in August. Dimario took really good care of us, and we became good friends. He made my sister-in-law and me feel welcome and like family right away, and we had a great time thanks to them. We have kept in contact since we left Jamaica and the last conversation we had they were both telling us how they didn’t have power and their homes were destroyed.

Dimario lost everything in Jamaica because of Hurricane Melissa. Since he took care of us, I want to help him in any way possible because I can’t even imagine losing everything. Even the resort we stayed in, Ocean Eden Bay, is destroyed.

If you can find it in your heart to help my friends, I would greatly appreciate it. This money can help him and his family rebuild his home and have electricity and food.
