Dima contracted an infection (MRSA) in his blood, which caused his kidneys and liver to shut down. He went septic at that point and had to undergo debridement on both feet, left wrist, right knee, and chest. We are talking over 50+ stitches and open wounds. The doctors would like to do a heart valve surgery, but he isn't strong enough, and in the future, they are talking about a liver transplant eventually, if he doesn't recover.
