Help Dillon Heal: Support His Recovery Journey

Donation protected
On May 25, 2025, Dillon and his dad, Joe, were cutting wood near their house. This is something Dillon has done a hundred times before. While Dillon was moving a piece of wood, the wood splitter malfunctioned causing amputation his index and middle finger and severe fracture of his ring finger. Joe rushed him to UHC, where he was then flown to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was in surgery for 10 hours on Sunday night and into Monday morning to reattach both fingers. The surgery went well, but Dillon had to go back to the OR for another 10 hour surgery on Tuesday to improve blood flow and tissue. He was transferred to UPMC Presbyterian on Wednesday evening to start hyperbaric chamber therapy to try and get oxygen to those tissues. The next 48 hours of this journey are really critical. Destiny and Joe have been in Pittsburgh with Dillon since this happened and haven’t left his side.

We’re raising funds to help Destiny and Joe so they can focus on what really matters: getting Dillon healed and better so he can come back home to his family and friends in West Virginia. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward medical expenses and ensuring that his family can remain by his side without the added stress of financial strain.

Thank you so much for your support!!
