Hey y'all! My name is Dillon Keefe and I play division 3 football for Chapman University. I am a 2 time division 3 first team all American and a 2 time defensive player of the year for my conference, the Sciac. With this in mind, I am lucky enough to be given a chance at playing football on a professional level. I play football because I love the sport, not only for how it is played and the character it has instilled in me, but for the people I play, and have played alongside over the course of my 16 year career. I feel as if I owe it to myself and the people who have believed in me from the beginning to take this opportunity I have been blessed with and pursue it to its fullest extent.

For those of you that don't know how the process works, I must attend showcases, pro days, and bowl games in order to garner attention from professional scouts. Most of these events include costs such as registration fees, travel fees such as plane tickets and rental cars, meals, hotel & stay, etc. which, given my current college student bank account, I am unable to afford.

I have been invited to and am planning on attending an event from January 8-12, 2022 called the College Gridiron Showcase in Fort Worth, TX, where small school athletes go to compete in the showcase in front of professional scouts. This event includes a registration fee of $575 which includes the costs of hotel, meals, travel once I arrive in Texas, and participation within the event. This means I also need to purchase a plane ticket as well.

This is just one of the many events out there that I must compete in in order to expose myself to these scouts, which is why I created this gofundme. With your help, I will be able to insert myself into these necessary events and gather the attention I need to create the best opportunity for myself to play at the next level.

I am excited for this next chapter in my career where I can represent the city, the people, and the schools, I came from! Anything helps and I appreciate every one who has impacted my life to get me here today.
