We are reaching out on behalf of our friend Dillan Vanner, a dedicated and prominent member of Texas Tech University and the Lubbock community. Dillan is an active participant in multiple campus organizations, including the GSA, the Philosophy Club, Alpha Phi Omega, and Canterbury Episcopal Campus Ministry. Dillan has shown incredible commitment to creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for everyone he meets, and now he needs our help.
Recently, while hiking, Dillan suffered a devastating fall, plunging 70 feet and enduring severe injuries. He sustained multiple broken vertebrae and a deep cut to the back of his head. He has already undergone a complex spinal fusion surgery and received stitches for his injuries. While he's receiving the medical care he needs, the financial burden from his accident and recovery has become overwhelming.
This GoFundMe is set up to help Dillan with the immense medical costs and assist him during this challenging time as he navigates recovery. Any support, no matter the size, will go a long way in easing the financial strain and helping Dillan focus on healing.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. Dillan has always been there for us—let’s come together to support him now.
