Help Diesel Recover from Emergency Surgery

My name is Krystal Bezdany. I am Diesel's momma. Starting late Thursday night into Friday. DD started to be sick vomiting multiple times in the night. I had tried rice and turkey and that didn't help it just came back up. So, I stopped with the food all together and was doing syringes of water and Pedialyte to make sure he was staying hydrated with all his vomiting. He seemed to be doing better Sunday no vomiting for a while but also refusing to eat and just very sleepy and mopey. Monday night we got home, and I could see on the camera that he had vomited 3 times. While cleaning it and working in the hospital the smell and the look of it I could tell that it wasn't good. Tuesday morning, I immediately reached out to Stoney Pointe Vet with the help of a friend who works there, and they gave us an appointment immediately. In the process of driving him to the vet I got a call that their x-ray machine was down and to reroute to REVS in Rochester. So, DD and I flew up to REVS which is an emergency vet. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They took DD for some initial vitals stating they were good and then did bloodwork and the x-ray. The bloodwork showed that he was slightly dehydrated, and they commended me for doing the water and electrolytes with a syringe that it significantly helped. They then showed me the x-ray and working in the hospital again I knew exactly what I was looking at which was a bowel obstruction. Surgery was a necessity as the rope toy was anchored to his stomach and dangling into his intestinal tract. With all the meds and him still being sedated from his x-ray I said my goodbyes balling leaving him there. They called after surgery and said that he had stopped breathing so that they had to breath for him but that he was doing well. They had told me that no news was good news but as of 9AM I still had heard nothing, so I called to get an update all they gave me was that he regurgitated a few times and was now on meds for it as well as he was refusing to eat and said the doctor would call me with more information. Fast forward 4 hours I had not received a call from the doctor yet, so I called back demanding at this point that someone tell me what was happening with my baby, so they got the doctor. He informs me that Diesel is well but has an NG Tube from his nose down into his stomach, so he doesn't regurgitate anymore as well as refusing to eat that they would try again and let me know. He called back 20 mins later saying that DD ate and did not regurgitate. Dan and I did go to visit, and he is very sad and very anxious, so we had to tell them to take him back to his kennel because I didn't want him pulling his NG Tube. We met with the doctor and the financial associate, and we have accumulated a hefty bill. If DD ends up having to stay past noon on 10/2/2025 the bill will grow. He has a long road for recovery of soft easily digested foods for about a week and slowly introducing his food back in. I am not one to ask for help as many and most people know but I am asking for help this time any little bit will help, and I appreciate anything and everything everyone has done or will do to help bring our handsome boy home safe and better.
