Hi! My name is Ashley Brooks and if you know me, you know I normally do not like to ask for anything from anyone at all. But I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help. Yesterday, I had to take my fur baby Diesel to the Animal Emergency Hospital after he had been throwing up an alarming amount of yellow bile every time he drank water and was refusing to eat for over 24 hours. They recommended that he stay overnight for IV fluids and further testing including many bloodwork panels and X-rays. He has been stable but they are still unsure what is causing the blockage and causing him to throw up. They said we’re not out of the waters of him needing surgery to remove whatever it is.

The cost for everything is extremely overwhelming, and I’m trying to do everything I can to make sure he gets the care he needs. He is my absolute world and I have just been a wreck since all of this started.
