Hi, I'm Diego Mercado and I live in Tijuana, Mexico. I'm married with a 5 year old daughter. I have a work visa and have been commuting to San Diego for the last 5-6 years. I'm currently working at Champion Gymnastics and Cheer in the Sann Diego area as a Boys Team Gymnastics Coach. I love helping the kids develop new skills and mentoring them with life lessons that they can take with them throughout their entire lives. In my youth, I competed internationally in boys gymnastics so my love of the sport runs deep.

I've been working on obtaining my U.S. citizenship for a long time, have done everything that was required, and have reached the final stretch. We have engaged help from an Immigration Attorney, but the cost is too much for me and my family to bear alone. I've been self-sufficient all these years but have hit a financial roadblock in this journey.
