We rescued our sweet little Diego about two months ago and shortly after he came home, he was diagnosed with FIP. Due to the rapid nature of FIP, Diego has lost the ability to use his hind legs and is incontinent. Diego is a sweet 8 month old boy who enjoys playing with his kitty brother and holding our hands all day long. He is by far the sweetest boy we have ever met and we wish our love and affection alone could cure him of this horrible disease. Diego is the type of cat who is always purring and happy to be with his family even though he is going through so much.

With the help of the rescue, we started FIP medication and he has started to improve with movement of his tail and some strength in his back legs! This progress will only continue as long as we treat him for the full three months required to cure FIP disease.

Unfortunately, the treatment is extremely costly, making this more of a difficult task for us. So we are turning to this platform for help.

Diego is a really great cat who has brought us a lot of joy and we would love to give him the chance at a long happy life. He loves us just as much as we love him, and we really will do everything we can to give him a fighting chance!
