Two Hubs, One Vision
My name is Diego Alexander Mora, and I am a first-generation Mexican-American studying Radio/Television/Film and Economics at Northwestern University.
This year, I have an unprecedented opportunity to study in two global hubs:
Film in Paris (the historic capital of cinema and the emotion of love)
Economics in London (a global financial/economic epicenter)
My goal is to bridge these two worlds to build my foundation as a global storyteller and leader.
Documenting Resilience
For the past year and a half, I have had the absolute honor of creating a documentary on Jim Sifuentes. Documenting his ability to write, record, and perform two albums while facing immense challenges has fundamentally reshaped my understanding of grace and resilience.
Jim taught me what it takes to truly be successful. Rooted in Jim's influence of irrevocable grace—I hope to carry forth his love and care for this world everywhere I go.
The Financial Situation
I am funding my study abroad in Paris entirely independently. Unfortunately, I was recently denied the Gilman Scholarship, and due to an ongoing family emergency, my personal savings of $5,500 had to be fully liquidated to keep my family afloat. Because my university does not provide external aid for my specific Paris program, I am currently facing an $8,500 gap to make this study abroad a reality.
The Return on Investment
While I have been able to come up with $5,000 through finding hidden grants and working at my university, I am still in a severe deficit of $8,500.
All your funding directly covers my gap in tuition payment. By supporting this campaign, you are directly investing in my trajectory to succeed, build a global foundation, and bring these international stories back home.
Whether you can contribute financially or simply share this link with your network, every bit of support gets me closer to Europe.
Thank you for believing in my vision, it means the world to me.
With Immense Gratitude ,
Diego Alexander Mora
