Help Didi Repair Her Flood-Damaged Home

My name is Dawn Creasman and I have a dear friend that needs help. Didi has worked in the health industry all her life - helping other people and including a lot of volunteering. She has had devastation done to her home in Black Mountain due to Helene and the severe flooding. Currently, she remains in her home with her 2 dogs and 1 cat, but the mold and cold are really taking effect on her health. A tree fell on her roof over her kitchen, dining, and main living area, and she currently has a tarp for covering (it leaks). A mud and debris landslide hit the other side of her home, and it currently has exposed mold and asbestos that are getting inside her lungs. The roof can't be fixed until the foundation and walls are repaired. She does have a lung disease and past surgery, and this is really making her cough... a lot! FEMA is helping out but honestly not making a dent in what she needs. Her church, St. Margaret Mary Catholic, is helping too. If you can help, please do. I do have a lot of radio friends, personal friends, and people I know that will share. Every little bit helps, and this sweet lady appreciates anything.
