Help DiaTima Vacheresse Recover After Traumatic Dog Attack
On February 25, 2026, our beloved DiaTima Vacheresse experienced a life-changing and traumatic accident. While trying to break up a fight between her dogs and a stray, the situation quickly turned, and she was severely attacked.
DiaTima was rushed into emergency surgery that same night and later transferred to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she remains under close medical care. She suffered extensive injuries to both hands, including broken knuckles, stretched arteries, and severe damage requiring surgical repair. One hand now has plates and screws, while the other required wires and additional hardware to stabilize the damage.
Doctors are currently monitoring her condition closely, as there is still a possibility that amputation of her pinky finger may be necessary. She will remain hospitalized for several days as they continue to evaluate her healing and circulation.
DiaTima is known for her kind heart, strong work ethic, and resilience. She works full-time as a server at Charlie’s Steak House and relies solely on her hands—and her ability to work—to support herself. With an estimated recovery time of 6–8 weeks (and likely physical therapy beyond that), she will be unable to work and earn income during this critical time.
We are asking for your support to help DiaTima cover:
• Medical expenses and hospital bills
• Rehabilitation and physical therapy
• Everyday living expenses while she is unable to work
Any amount, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in helping DiaTima focus on healing without the added stress of financial burden.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping DiaTima in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for showing love and support during this incredibly difficult time.
