My name is Jamie Kish, I am a friend of Diarra's and starting this gofundme for them, after their van accident earlier this week.

Whether you're a follower on social media, or a friend and loved one in real life, there's no minimizing the incredible, beautiful light and profound impact that Diarra embodies and creates. You'd also know how vital being on the road is for her, sharing her goodness and soaking in all of the beauty in her awesome DIY decked out van!

On Tuesday night, they were involved in an accident after another driver changed their mind last minute on an off ramp, and her beloved van was suddenly totaled. Diarra was admitted to the hospital and checked out after she hit her head pretty hard on the steering wheel and airbag. They are currently staying with their Father in AZ, trying to rest and recover. There's no doubt Diarra is eager to get back on the road, and even more so to create another traveling self sustainable home in a van to explore with, including a trip she had planned down through Mexico and Latin America. Her insurance is failing to help with the accident, and her van was brought to a police impound lot (they didn't tell her she could use her AAA), where they have charged her per day to hold it while she processes everything that suddenly has happened. Also lost in the accident were solar panels, two batteries, her electric set up, self built hardwood floors, various lights, a refrigerator, a wifi signal extender, a system for running water, and so much more she poured herself into during the build of her van.

This is where you come in!! We are gathering funds for Diarra so she can get back on the road, back to what makes her heart happy and spirit soar! While $20,000 is a daunting amount for one person to gather alone, it is far easier and more manageable to call in the help of Diarra's community!
