Imagine going to bed and being woken up by a blaring alarm and finding out your apartment is on fire. This is Dianne's reality.
On Sunday, June 23rd a fire broke out in her apartment building. From the fire damage to the water damage from getting the fire put out, it's not looking to be promising for
Dianne's belongings. This situation is especially difficult, because 4 days prior to the fire, Dianne went in for surgery on her knee. This has left her with reduced mobility for the near future. She is unable to actually see the extent of the damage but has been told it's not good. All Dianne has is the clothes she wore to dinner, her car, and her phone. The only good thing that happened that night, was knowing her dogs were safe with friends.
Dianne is an independent and incredibly strong woman who I know will get through this, but she shouldn't have to do it without help. Dianne is always available to help other people out, so now it's time that the help is given back to her. She has been a valued team member with Princess Auto for over 12 years now, and her work family wants to do everything they can to help her.
That is why we are looking to raise $5,500 to help her. This money would be used to get her into a new apartment and replace the items she has lost and try to restore some sort of normalcy into her life while she continues to heal from surgery.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings Dianne one step closer to not having to worry about having a roof over her head.
Please share this with family and friends.
Together, we can help Dianne rebuild her life.
