Help Dianna's TNR Project for Chicago Cats

We need your help! I'm Dianna and I'm fundraising for a TNR project in Chicago. My daughter and her husband, have been feeding the target colony of eight cats and kittens. We are determined to stop the cycle of suffering associated with feral cats who fight, mate while they are kittens themselves, and have unwanted kittens who often die before reaching adulthood. We are fortunate to have a couple of wonderful independent trappers helping to navigate trapping, scheduling surgeries, and transportation. Thank you, Nancy and Autumn!

Any cats and kittens who are friendlies will be fostered, and hopefully we can find rescues willing to partner with us to find them homes. So far, we have one kitten in a foster home and admitted with a rescue, and anticipate a couple more.

We are excited that last night, three cats were trapped, including one kitten who is allowing handling! We hope to find her a foster within the next few days. The other two will be released. That will leave 4-5 more to TNR.

Karena and Abe will continue to feed them and provide outdoor shelters for the upcoming winter.
