In August of 2023, our cherished friend, Diane Hicks, became a victim of a severe Southern California summer storm. The storm caused significant damage to Diane’s condominium, leaving her home with extensive water damage and requiring a full roof replacement. This unfortunate incident forced Diane to leave her home for several months while repairs and evaluations were underway, leaving her displaced and facing an uncertain future.

The aftermath of this disaster has taken a heavy toll on Diane, both emotionally and financially. Despite her resilience and determination, the financial burden has become overwhelming. The cost of repairs, coupled with the challenges of being displaced, has made it impossible for Diane to remain in her beloved home.
