In December 2025, my bank stopped accepting my HOA payment through their auto payment system and sent it back. I tried to pay directly, and it got rejected. My bank and the HOA went back and forth for months, sending payment requests and payments back and forth, and at this point, they would no longer allow me to pay directly, and they had sent me to collections.

I'm now on the hook for $17k in back payments, bank fees, and interest.

I'm not expecting to raise $17k, but anything helps at all, and I'm trying to relieve the burden on my husband who got laid off and there are no jobs right now.

We are trying so hard, and we both struggle with PTSD, and I have chronic pain issues. It's just really hard. I know we're all struggling, but maybe you have an extra dollar to spare, and if not, that's ok. I'll figure something out.
