My name is Becky Gump and my sister Laurie Hill. We are trying to get donations for our Mother, Diane Crist. My mom is 86 years old. Last week, our mom, myself and my sister left Seaside to go on a much needed vacation, 4 days in Enterprise,OR. We had just arrived, when our mom stepped out of the truck, she fell, on her side, on a concrete curb, breaking her shoulder and hip. She was life flighted to Boise, ID. She has had both surgeries now, but she needs a lot of physical therapy. Mom lives in Seaside, which has a hospital that can handle all her injuries and she knows almost everyone there. We are trying to get her transferred to Seaside, so that myself and my sister and friends can help with her recovery. As it stands, we were told that we would have to pay out of pocket for her transfer . $3500 to transfer mom ! My sister and I do not have that kind of money. Both of us have lost a son in the last two years, now raising grandchildren! We don’t want to lose mom too! We know that the only choice is to bring her back home to Seaside.
