Hi, I’m Nick, Diane’s cousin from Albuquerque, and if you’re reading this it’s because you know and love my cousin Diane Perkins. Recently her home caught fire and I’m starting this GoFundMe to help her and her doggie Zinny. To rebuild Diane and Zinny need your help, please consider donating whatever you can. I know that as a community we will come together to help Diane and Zinny to weather this storm.

Here’s what happened in Diane’s own words:

On May 31, 2021 my dog Zinny barked at 1 am to alert me something was happening. I looked out my bedroom window thinking I would see an animal. OUR HOME WAS ON FIRE! We got out safely, only because of Zinny!

Eight Fire Departments in Venango County responded. These Fire Fighters are All Volunteers! The fire spread quickly through the attic which demolished the house!

I rescued Zinny in May 2012 when he was chained to a tree 24/7/365, and nine years later Zinny saved my life from a catastrophic fire! That night My Black Lab, Zinny was a Hero, along with the 20+ Fire Fighters! Our home will always be on The Allegheny River.
