Hi everyone. As most of you know by now, Diane's Place had a terrible accident. A woman wearing pedicure booties/flip flops got her foot stuck on her accelerator pedal and drove her car right through the storefront. Miraculously no one in the shop was killed, and the driver is OK. However, Diane's sister Sandra suffered a fractured pelvis from being pinned by the car and injuries to her head. She is beginning her recovery in the hospital now and will not be able to work for many weeks or longer. Sandra and Diane do have insurance, thank goodness, but will not see any financial help for some time and Diane is very worried about paying her store rent which is due in less than a week. As anyone knows who has ever been in the shop, Diane and Sandra are the kindest souls around. Their prices are very reasonable and they are not a huge enterprise. Having to scale back while Sandra is recovering will surely be a huge financial hardship to such a small, independently owned shop and they need help. Anything you can contribute will be hugely appreciated and a great help to such amazing women in our community.
