Help Diane and Bruce Rebuild After Fire
Donation protected
Diane Davis-Durant and her husband Bruce Durant lost their home and a still uncertain number of pets (see update 8 survived) and no indoor fosters survived the horrible house fire Sunday afternoon, April 13th, 2025.
Diane and Bruce have been instrumental supporters for the mission of the Duncan Home For Wayward Cats, and the whole team feels their loss.
Fortunately, they are both okay.
Unfortunately, the fate of a number of animals in their home remains uncertain, but survival seems unlikely unless they escaped and are still in the area.
Neighbors are asked to keep watch.
Some of the missing cats and kittens' photos are below:
(1) Roo, a small brown puppy
(8) Dawn and her five kittens and two orphans she adopted
(1) Blinkin, a gray just returned from Petsense
(1) Toodles, a gray recently returned from Petsense
(1) Dumplin, a very special gray
(1) Monique, a reserved beautiful Tortie
(1) Buddy, a special needs tuxedo
(1) Dottie, Buddy's sister, a tuxedo (FOUND SAFE)
(1) Muffin, a sweet white and black dwarf
(1) Yoda, a ginger (FOUND SAFE)
(1) Hallow, a black female
Several other long-time cat pets that I do not have the names or photos for.
Those who would like to extend support to Diane and Bruce can do so in several ways, including contributing via this link, and your generous support will go directly to Diane and Bruce.
