Diane is a mother of 2 who has battled bile duct, pancreatic and now liver cancer.

She has already paid thousands of dollars out of pocket and now her insurance has denied both treatment options recommended by Roswell Park, Cleveland Clinic, and Strong Memorial. Out of pocket cost is $28,500 per treatment.

Please help us raise funds for Diane to pay for treatments to battle her 3rd type of cancer.

Diagnosed with colitis at age 15, Diane has battled GI issues most of her life. In 2019 she underwent chemotherapy for bile duct cancer.

In 2024, during a routine PET scan, she discovered she had pancreatic cancer. Shortly after, Diane had her pancreas removed, becoming a Type I diabetic.

She also underwent intensive chemotherapy since it was found the cancer had spread to her small bowel and lymph node. Diane rang the bell on Feb 14, 2025, but her health issues were far from over.

Diane's chemotherapy treatments destroyed her intestinal lining. She has suffered from multiple GI bleeds and undergone multiple surgeries since finishing chemotherapy. In 2025 she ended up hospitalized due to ammonia poisoning and resulting encephalopathy from a blocked duct in her liver. Her family was told to prepare for the worst.

Through all this, Diane has continued to maintain faith and bounce back. Every couple weeks she receives blood transfusions due to GI bleeds that the doctors cannot locate or fix. This past fall, she made the difficult decision to take a leave of absence on a limited salary, so she can focus on her health.

She will need to retire 10 years earlier than planned and this financial loss will be substantial for her.

If that's not enough, recently she was told the cancer had spread to her liver. Since her pancreatic cancer diagnosis, Diane has already paid thousands of dollars out of pocket for medical expenses. Once again, she is beginning a new cancer journey with the added expenses of treatments, now without the added benefit of her salary.

Diane is a fighter. She has fought through more than many of us could dream of.
