Help Diana's Parents Rebuild After Fire

Hello my name is diana and it saddens me to have to go through this or even write this. I wanted to share what recently happen to my parents home. On 2/14 at 2am i received a call that no child wants to hear, my mother crying and screaming over the phone, telling me to hurry up and get to her because the house was on fire without asking any questions I grabbed my keys, jumped in the car and made it to her to find the house, completely engulfed in flames, and my parents sitting outside in a car with just nothing but some House slippers and the dog this tore me into pieces and broke my heart. I was lost for words as here I am looking at 30 years or more worth of memories my childhood home and belongings completely gone. My dad lost his truck that he works so hard for. And there’s no getting it back that was his transportation for work. He lost all his tools, his supplies everything he needed to make a dollar every day. This was all unexpected. No one ever expects this, especially for it to happen to someone so close to you. I would’ve never thought this day would come but now we are here. I would like to ask for help from the community if we could all get together, my friends and family and try to get them whatever we can to help with their furniture, their beds, their clothing and hopefully to get my dad back on his feet so he can get to work. Nothing is too little. Everything is well appreciated and will forever be remembered.

Anyone that knows my parents they know the history of how hard my dad worked in the city for the community for friends for family without even charging a dime.
