Help Diana Serra Cary Be Put To Rest

On Feb 24, 2020 the last living silent film star, Baby Peggy, peacefully passed away at the age of 101. As an adult she changed her name to Diana Serra Cary, and became a well renowned author and historian. As an adult Cary converted to Catholicism, taking the name Serra in honor of Father Serra.
When Diana passed away she left behind many final expenses. She was a multimillionaire by 6 and it was lost before she was 10. The Million Dollar Baby never did experience wealth she had earned for her work. A separate campaign on gofundme is to help with her final expenses, this campaign is strictly for her interment costs.
Her son Mark Cary would like to have her interred in the San Carlos Cemetery in Monterey, CA. The cost to do this is the cost of this fundraiser. One reason in particular he'd like to have her interred there is Father Serra is interred a few miles away in the Carmel Missionary (new interments aren't allowed there now). While Father Serra is a controversial figure in California history, we are simply trying to honor Diana's wishes, not make a statement on his life and work.
